Just another manic Monday ...

Well, it began in the wee hours of the morning. Hopscotch has had some issues lately with sleeping ... he doesn't like to. Putting him down for naps and bedtime has become quite a spectical. In one night alone - I silently and boldly put him back into his crib 36 times within 2 hours. No joke. It was very 'Supernanny' style, if I do say so myself.

Anyways, Sunday night I was looking forward to quite possibly getting a solid nights sleep. Hopscotch made it down at a decent hour - miracles do occur. So off I went to bed. I was soon awaken by the living room TV blaring Disney Channel - Suite Life on Deck. "What in the world ...?" I thought. I stagger down the hall to find this ...

Hopscotch has also taken on a new habit of stripping down to nothing, every chance that he gets - so I also found this ...

The child barely glanced my way. I thought - "Where in the world am I?"
Mommy : "What are you doing?"
Hopscotch : "Watchin a movie, mama."
Mommy : "It's time for bed though."
Hopscotch : "I just woke up!"

sigh

What time was this all going down at, you ask?

Yup, that's A.M. in case you were confused. Thus began my Monday.

By 9 am Thunder was off to school - (Hopscotch had risen for the day by 6 am, completely unbothered by the early morning TV viewing.) We were at home waiting for his speech teacher to join us for 'class'. I ran to the bathroom (silly me) and came back into the living room to find Hopscotch having a little snack ...

He is so thoughtful, he made sure Bear had part in his treat as well ...

Later that evening - I was waiting for the college girls to arrive for Bible Study - and I heard a weird noise outside. I ran to the window to see the garden hose laying across the driveway spraying water everywhere, but not from the end ... rather from the middle.
"What in the world .... Bear!"
Yeah, Bear has reverted back to puppy puppy chewing ... decided to chew a huge hole in our hose.

The girls came - we hung out - Hopscotch joined us ... yup, he joined us and joined us and kept joining us until well after 10:00 pm. You'd think the child would be tired since he'd technically been up since TWO A.M.!
Here he is wearing one of the girls boots - not only was he up - he was of course putting on a show.

We finally ended our Manic Monday around midnight - there may have been a threat or 2 involved!
