My family is crazy. The end.
Ok, just kidding. The insane moments in this house continue to add up - sometimes I wonder, am I alone?
Does anyone else have boys that can literally destroy a clean house in 1.3 seconds, eat the middle out of brownies you are taking to church in 20 minutes, squish the Hershey Kisses on top of 3 dozen cookies for the school bakesale the morning of, strip themselves down to just their socks within minutes EVERY TIME YOU GET THEM DRESSED AND ARE READY TO LEAVE THE HOUSE? Anybody? Anybody? Does your 2 year old feed their toothbrush to the dog on a weekly basis? Speaking of dogs, has anybody ever had their dog completely destroy a brand new bag of flour (thanks for leaving the pantry open honey!)? Not only destroy it - but actually continue to eat it as though it were actually good? I mean, seriously!
There are so many days that have gone by that I literally collapse into bed and think ... what in the heck just happened? Could a day possibly go by that the 2 year old doesn't attract everything dirty and sticky to his face? You think I am kidding?
We had just gotten back to our campsite from the store, minutes - I am talking minutes! Our campsite was SANDY BEACH! No dirt, just dry sand.
Anyways - I have made a pledge. Let's see how long it lasts! But I told my hubby I am committing to taking a picture of every wacky moment these boys create in my life! To document for proof of course - but to also embrace the moment. I have a few stacked up from last week (3 incidents within 24 hours). I have let A LOT of these crazy, annoying, inconvenient, dirty, smelly, sticky, loud and sometimes just downright dangerous moments pass by with mostly just panic and a whole lot of screaming! But I am done freaking out (Okay, there will always be a little freaking out!) But boys are boys - and my boys are AMAZING!
This tiny place in this big big world will be a welcome place for you to visit and laugh with us! (Even if it's just you, mom!) It will not always be pretty, probably disgusting at times, but it will be full of love and laughter! This is my Thunder who is 5 and my Hopscotch who is 2 ... and they are my life!
